This Privacy Policy explains how Business Launch Toolbox LLC d/b/a BuzzCard.app (“BuzzCard,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information when you use BuzzCard.app or purchase a BuzzCard membership. The service is available only in North Carolina.
1. Information we collect
We may collect the following information:
- Your name, email address, phone number, city, and organization.
- Your answers to forms, support requests, and other information you choose to provide.
- Your account and membership information.
- Your redemption history, including the offers you redeem and related redemption records.
- Technical information, such as a salted hash of your IP address, your user agent, UTM parameters, referrer information, and information generated through cookies or similar technologies.
- Payment-related information needed to process your membership. Stripe handles payment details. BuzzCard does not store your full payment card details.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- create and manage your account and membership;
- process payments and send billing, account, and transactional messages;
- provide offers, record redemptions, and help prevent fraud or misuse;
- answer questions and provide support;
- understand how people find and use the service, including campaign and referral performance;
- secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Membership.
3. Service providers and processors
We use service providers to run BuzzCard. They process information only as needed to provide their services to us:

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights, safety, and security of BuzzCard or others, or in connection with a business transfer, such as a merger, sale, or reorganization.
4. Cookies, analytics, and referrals
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the service working, understand usage, and measure the source of visits and signups. This may include UTM parameters and referrer data.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the service works.
5. How long we keep information
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this Policy, including maintaining your account, providing the service, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, preventing fraud, and meeting legal or accounting obligations.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it when reasonably practicable. Some information may remain in backups or be retained where law or legitimate recordkeeping needs require it.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No internet service, storage system, or transmission method is completely secure. Please keep your account credentials private and contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
7. Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. You may also ask questions about our handling of your information.
Email jake@buzzcard.app from the address connected to your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Deletion may be limited when we need to retain information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or other legitimate purposes.
You can cancel a membership in the app at Account → Membership → Cancel. Cancellation is separate from a request to delete personal information.
8. California privacy notice
If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including rights to know, correct, and delete certain personal information, subject to legal exceptions. You may make a request by emailing jake@buzzcard.app.
BuzzCard does not sell personal information.
9. Children
BuzzCard is not directed to children under 13, and BuzzCard does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, contact jake@buzzcard.app so we can review and address the issue.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make a material change, we will provide notice through the app, by email, or both before the change takes effect when reasonably practicable. The “Last updated” date shows when this Policy was last revised.
